Special Education Advocacy in CT

Public schools in the State of Connecticut are required to provide your child with a free and appropriate public education.

Students with special education or 504 designation have specific rights and needs that are often not met by a school district. Schools are required to proactively support and evaluate your child if they are struggling academically. Maneuvering the PPT and Section 504 process can be daunting, and you may be at a disadvantage if you do not know your rights.

Sometimes just getting the school to acknowledge that your child is in need of additional services can be difficult.

There are specific procedures and processes that need to be carefully navigated to set up your student for success. I am an experienced special education attorney who can help you get your child the education he or she is entitled to.
